Tutorial for wrislet/purse: (In INCHES)
1. Cut 2 pieces of fabric according to the diagram add 2” for seam ( or as u desired). 1 piece of fabric is for the outer one and one piece for the lining (inside). (A, B, C is one piece, not separate)
2. Cut 1 piece of interfacing or here I use sponge (utk bahan lapisan tengahnya) the same size as the fabric.
3. Cut 1 fabric (main or contrast) 2" x 12" for the handle
4. Lay the sponge on the bottom, the inner lining fabric in the middle (right side face up), and the main fabric on top (right side face down)
5. Stitch along the red line (A ), don’t forget to use reverse stitch on both ends. And trim the edges.
6. Stitch along the bottom line of C and trim the edges.
7. Turn the fabric, and iron where the stitching have been done.
8. and Fold the line between B & C (right side together). Align them properly according to the flap that’s been made. Insert the handle on 1 side (it should be inside the fold). Stitch both the side, trim and zigzag the edges.
9. Fix the magnetic snap (if you use thicker fabric) or decorative button. If using Velcro, have to fix it before hand, otherwise you have to hand stitch it later..:D
10. If you want to use decorative ribbon, you have to stitch the ribbon on the outer fabric before hand (before you begin to stitch the flap)
